Contribute in a professional, constructive, and education-focused manner. Disagreement is allowed, but address the idea rather than attacking, humiliating, or intimidating the person.

Content that is not allowed

Do not post or share:

• Harassment, bullying, threats, stalking, or encouragement of violence or self-harm.
• Hateful or discriminatory content targeting a person or group.
• Sexual, exploitative, graphic, or otherwise inappropriate material.
• Fraud, impersonation, deliberate misinformation, malicious links, or instructions for unlawful activity.
• Spam, repeated promotions, unrelated advertising, or disruptive repeated content.

Privacy and personal safety

Do not publish another person's phone number, address, identity document, private communication, student record, image, or other personal information without lawful authority. Never request passwords or verification codes.

Authenticity and intellectual property

Submit your own work unless collaboration is permitted. Credit sources, respect copyright and course licences, and do not upload material that you are not authorised to share.

Reporting content and users

Use the in-app report action when a post or participant appears to violate these guidelines. Select the most accurate reason and provide only relevant details. Do not misuse reporting to target someone because of a disagreement.

Blocking another participant

You may block another participant to stop or hide unwanted forum interaction. Blocking does not replace reporting where there is a safety risk, and it does not hide official course instructions or prevent authorised staff from performing their duties.

Moderation and consequences

Authorised moderators may review reports and relevant evidence, restrict visibility, remove content, issue a warning, limit forum access, suspend an account, or refer serious matters to the responsible authority. Action depends on context, severity, repetition, and applicable law or education policy.

Fair review and urgent concerns

Reports are reviewed as promptly as reasonably possible. Contact TIE directly for clarification about a moderation decision. If there is an immediate threat to safety or suspected criminal activity, contact the appropriate emergency or law-enforcement authority as well as TIE.

Changes to these guidelines

TIE may update these guidelines as MEWAKA features, education requirements, or legal obligations change. Material changes will be published with an updated effective date.
